Small Groups: Help to organize our ministry to connect “heart-to-heart” with brothers and sisters on the journey. Yes

Parish Council: Express interest in serving on our governing body. New Council members are nominated and elected every year. Yes

Caring Ministry: Bring the loving presence of God, through a caring companion on the journey, when life is difficult. Yes

Hospitality Ministry: Offering hospitality through food at pot-luck dinners and other events. Yes

Membership/Welcome Table: Help to provide a welcoming experience to visitors and facilitate integration of new members into our community. Yes

Development: Coordinate fundraising events and pledge drives. Yes

Public Relations: Raise awareness of our parish within the greater St. Louis community. Yes

Finance: Maintain the parish’s financial records. Yes

Lectors: Proclaim the readings during the Liturgy of the Word and offer the “prayers of the people” after the homily. Yes

Eucharistic Ministers: Help in preparing communion ware prior to Mass. Assist at the Table during Eucharist and serve the Cup. Volunteers also help with the baking of the bread and the washing of linens. Yes

Music: Use vocal or instrumental musical gifts for Mass and other special liturgies, or use the body through dance/movement to offer prayer at Mass. Yes

Sacristans: Prepare the church for Mass by setting up chairs and liturgical supplies and cleaning up after Mass. Also collects offerings, prepares the gifts for the preparation of the Table and responds to member needs during Liturgy. Yes

Liturgy: Plan, review and envision our weekly communal liturgies. Also help to plan liturgies and prayer opportunities outside of the weekly Eucharist. Yes

Tithing: Help to steward the process of donating ten percent of our total parish collections to non-profit organizations. Yes

KIVA Club: Facilitate opportunities for our community to extend micro-loans as a community through www.kiva.org. Yes

Green Team: Work on education, justice and advocacy for the health of all creation, rooted in creation spirituality. Yes

Communal Works of Service Committee: Organizes and facilitates opportunities for the parish to engage in works of social justice and service. Yes
